HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE MY ORDER?
Orders are handmade 4-6 business days after payment. Your order will be mailed via 1st class USPS from New Hampshire, USA when it is ready to ship. Need an expedited shipping service? Add a shipping upgrade to your order.
I'M CONFUSED ABOUT TAG SIZES FOR MY PET. WHAT SIZE WORKS BEST?
Tags are photographed close up to show detail, so be sure to check the size (in inches) listed on the particular item you're considering. Though personal preference varies, generally a 3/4'' tag is great for cats/toy breeds, a 1'' tag is great for small to medium dogs, a 1.25'' tag is a nice size for medium to larger dogs, and a 1.5'' is well suited for very large breeds. We always recommend drawing out the circle on a piece of paper and gauging it against your dog's build if you're a more visual thinker!
I SEE YOUR PRODUCTION SCHEDULE, BUT I HAVE AN EVENT COMING UP THIS WEEKEND AND NEED SOMETHING ASAP. CAN YOU MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR ME?
So sorry, but as much as I'd like, I have a queue of customers who have ordered before you, and it's not fair to them. If you do find yourself having a last-minute need, I may be able to make your piece during my off-hours. This is the time I spend away from the workshop with my family, so if I can accommodate it, I'll let you know. Please note that I do charge you a rush fee, as well as the cost of expedited postage-- these options are available at checkout.
I VOLUNTEER FOR A CHARITY NEEDING DONATIONS. WILL YOU DONATE A PIECE TO MY CAUSE?
I receive several requests per week soliciting charitable donations, and sadly, must deny more than I can accept. Consideration is given to established organizations local to New England and for those with a strong online/social media presence willing to link back or feature the shop.
CAN YOU STAMP A PIECE WITH MY GRAPHIC / ICON / TRADEMARKED LOGO / DRAWING?
Nope. I stamp with a sets of steel stamps, and unlike a computer, cannot replicate your icon. Photos of the design stamps I offer are widely seen throughout the site - I am limited to those. If you're set on this design, I'd suggest reaching out to an engraver who might be able to work with you.
CAN YOU SEND ME A PHOTO / PROOF / MOCKUP PRIOR TO MAKING MY ORDER?
Sorry, no. The nature of hand-stamping is permanent, as I stamp with forged steel stamps and don't manipulate fonts or graphics as you would on a computer. That aside, I don't have time to photograph and email photos; I need to be in the workshop making orders! You can expect a piece very similar to the example listed in the shop. A variety of fonts, metals, and designs are photographed in the shop, and feel free to email me with any questions / concerns you might have prior to ordering!
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS? ARE PRICES NEGOTIABLE? WHAT IF I ORDER MULTIPLE ITEMS?
I feel my items are competitively priced given their quality and the time I spend handcrafting each custom piece. That said, I'm willing to offer a volume discount (10+ pieces) -- just send me an email to discuss.
